Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and often stylized with the letters in uppercase like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano in her basement and being fascinated at the sound it created. It was never a dream to become Aurora. She claims that she simply loves writing music. She claims that music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
